Description

A spicy and flavorful stir-fry featuring boneless chicken breasts, garlic, and Szechuan peppercorns, perfect for serving over rice or noodles.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Szechuan peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 12 tsp red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and pat dry.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and cornstarch. Add chicken and marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and Szechuan peppercorns; sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add marinated chicken to the skillet; stir-fry for about 5-6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Sprinkle red pepper flakes over the chicken to taste and stir well.
  6. Garnish with green onions before serving over rice or noodles.
