Ingredients

- 2 slices thick-cut bread
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- 1 tablespoon butter or mayo (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Use a spoon to press down the center of each bread slice, creating a shallow well.
- Lightly spread butter or mayo on both sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges of the well, creating a cheesy border.
- Carefully crack an egg into the center of each slice.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any desired spices (like paprika or garlic powder).
- Place slices in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 6–8 minutes, depending on yolk preference.
- Remove from air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving.
