Description

A delicious and easy air fryer recipe for cheesy eggs in a hole.


Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or mayo (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley or chives, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Use a spoon to press down the center of each bread slice, creating a shallow well.
  2. Lightly spread butter or mayo on both sides of the bread.
  3. Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges of the well, creating a cheesy border.
  4. Carefully crack an egg into the center of each slice.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and any desired spices (like paprika or garlic powder).
  6. Place slices in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 6–8 minutes, depending on yolk preference.
  7. Remove from air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving.
