Description

This delicious peanut butter cream cheese dip is perfect for parties and gatherings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (or 1 cup heavy cream whipped with 2 tbsp powdered sugar)
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for the ganache)
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for the ganache)
  • 1 cup crushed salted peanuts (for garnish)
  • 1 cup chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups (for garnish)
  • 1 cup mini M&Ms (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp flaky sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
  2. Mix in vanilla extract and powdered sugar until fully combined.
  3. Fold in Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream) until fluffy.
  4. Stir in mini chocolate chips.
  5. Spread evenly into a 9-inch pie plate (or similar shallow dish).
  6. Place chocolate chips in a heat-safe bowl.
  7. Heat cream until steaming (just before a boil). Pour over chocolate chips.
  8. Let sit 2–3 minutes, then whisk until smooth and glossy.
  9. Let cool slightly so it thickens but is still pourable.
  10. Spread the ganache evenly over the peanut butter dip.
  11. Garnish with crushed peanuts, Reese’s, or a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
  12. Chill for at least 30 minutes to set.
