Description
This delicious chickpea tahini dip is perfect as a spread or a dip, loaded with flavor and easy to make.
Ingredients

- 1 can chickpeas
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 to 4 tablespoons cold water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional garnishes (paprika, parsley, olive oil, pine nuts)
Instructions
- Drain and rinse chickpeas thoroughly.
- Blend lemon juice and garlic in a food processor, let sit for 2 minutes.
- Add tahini and blend until smooth and fluffy.
- Add chickpeas and salt, blend until thick and somewhat smooth.
- Drizzle in cold water and olive oil while blending to reach creamy consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and garnish as desired.
Notes
- For a smoother texture, you can remove the skins from the chickpeas before blending.
