Description

A creamy and delicious spread topped with fig jam and pistachios, perfect for serving with crackers or toasted bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese (finely grated)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons granulated onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • 1/2 cup fig jam or preserves
  • 1/4 cup pistachios (chopped)
  • crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Add cream cheese, butter, grated Parmesan cheese, granulated garlic, dried dill, dried thyme, granulated onion, salt and pepper to a shallow dish like a pie plate. Mash together with a fork until well combined.
  2. Spread evenly across the dish.
  3. Dollop the fig jam over the top, spreading in an even layer.
  4. Top with chopped pistachios.
  5. Serve immediately with crackers or toasted bread slices.

Notes

  • This spread can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Substitute fresh herbs for dried for added flavor.
