Ingredients

- 3 large apples (peeled, thinly sliced)
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Press half the oat mixture firmly into the bottom of the baking dish for the crust.
- Layer the thin apple slices evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle remaining oat mixture on top, pressing lightly.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Cool slightly, drizzle with caramel sauce, cut into bars, and serve warm.
