Creamy chicken casserole loaded with broccoli, cheddar, and crispy bacon.

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup crispy bacon, chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream or mayonnaise
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella (optional for extra meltiness)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a casserole dish.
- Steam broccoli lightly until just tender-crisp.
- In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in broccoli and half the cheddar cheese.
- Spread mixture into the baking dish and top with remaining cheddar and mozzarella.
- Sprinkle crispy bacon pieces on top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden, bubbly, and cheese is fully melted. Serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes.
- Can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a healthier option.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
