Fluffy golden cheese puffs shaped like spooky little ghosts with chocolate-chip eyes, perfect for Halloween.

- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Chocolate chips (for eyes and mouth)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
- In a saucepan, melt butter with milk, then whisk in flour until smooth.
- Remove from heat and beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in shredded cheese.
- Transfer mixture into a piping bag and pipe ghost shapes onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20–22 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Press in chocolate chips while still warm to make eyes and mouths.
- Let cool slightly before serving these cheesy little ghouls.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add some jalapeños to the cheese mixture.
- These puffs are best served warm.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
