Golden tater tots baked over a creamy, cheesy filling for the ultimate comfort dish.

- 1 bag frozen tater tots (about 32 oz)
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13 casserole dish.
- In a bowl, mix soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
- Stir in cooked chicken and 1 cup of cheese; spread mixture evenly into dish.
- Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until tots are golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake another 5–7 minutes until melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños to the chicken mixture.
- Can substitute cooked turkey for chicken if desired.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
