Description

Adorable strawberry treats dressed up as chocolate mice for parties or Halloween.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (melted)
  • ½ cup finely grated chocolate or chocolate sprinkles
  • 12 whole almonds (for ears)
  • Red or pink mini candies (for noses)
  • White round sprinkles (for eyes)
  • Melted white or dark chocolate (for eye pupils)
  • Licorice strings or pretzel sticks (for tails)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry strawberries thoroughly, keeping the green tops removed.
  2. Dip each strawberry in melted chocolate, then roll in grated chocolate or sprinkles.
  3. Before the chocolate sets, insert almond halves as “ears” at the top.
  4. Add a candy nose to the tip of the strawberry and stick on sprinkle eyes.
  5. Use melted chocolate to dot pupils on the eyes.
  6. Attach licorice or pretzel “tails” at the back.
  7. Chill until firm and serve these cute little “mice.”
