Instructions
- Peel and slice apples into even wedges.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Stir well.
- Cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender and caramelized.
- Add lemon juice at the end to brighten flavor.
- Optional: sprinkle extra sugar for a slightly crunchy finish.
- Serve warm as a dessert, topping for pancakes, or side dish.
