Description
Tender chicken simmered in a rich spiced tomato-cream sauce, served with fluffy rice and warm naan.
Ingredients

- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs (cubed)
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion (finely diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp ginger (grated)
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional for heat)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
- Basmati rice & naan (for serving)
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium heat and sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
- Stir in garam masala, cumin, paprika, turmeric, and chili powder; cook 1 minute.
- Add tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes to thicken.
- Stir in cream and 1 tbsp butter for richness.
- Add chicken cubes, season with salt and pepper, and simmer until fully cooked (12–15 minutes).
- Serve hot with basmati rice and naan on the side.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro.
Notes
- Adjust chili powder according to your heat preference.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer after adding the cream.
- Fresh cilantro adds a nice flavor and color to the dish.
