Description

Juicy golden-seared chicken smothered in a rich, velvety garlic cream sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Fresh chives (for garnish)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear in olive oil until golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Stir in Dijon mustard, chicken broth, and heavy cream, whisking to combine.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese, simmering until sauce thickens.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet, coating with sauce.
  6. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce is creamy.
  7. Garnish with fresh chives and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, allow it to simmer longer.
  • Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
