- 4 Chicken breasts
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 4 Garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- Fresh chives (for garnish)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear in olive oil until golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in Dijon mustard, chicken broth, and heavy cream, whisking to combine.
- Add Parmesan cheese, simmering until sauce thickens.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coating with sauce.
- Simmer for 10–12 minutes until chicken is cooked through and sauce is creamy.
- Garnish with fresh chives and serve hot.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, allow it to simmer longer.
- Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
