- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 Sesame seed burger buns
- 2 slices Mozzarella or provolone cheese
- 1 Egg wash
- 1 cup Bread crumbs or panko
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- Oil (for frying)
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Hot sauce (for special sauce)
Instructions
- Pound chicken breasts to even thickness, then season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Dredge in flour, dip in egg wash, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry chicken until crispy and golden brown, about 6–7 minutes.
- Toast sesame buns lightly in a skillet or oven.
- Place cheese slice on the hot chicken to melt slightly.
- Whisk mayo, ketchup, and hot sauce to make the creamy special sauce.
- Assemble: bun, sauced crispy chicken, cheese, extra sauce drizzle, and top bun. Serve with chips or fries.
