- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix ricotta cheese, milk, eggs, and melted butter until smooth.
- Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Stir in chocolate chips evenly.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for heart shapes (using a mold if desired).
- Cook until bubbles form on top (about 2-3 minutes), then flip to cook the other side until golden brown.
Notes
- For best results, don’t overmix the batter.
- You can use a non-stick cooking spray for the skillet if needed.
