- 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup corn (canned or frozen)
- 1 whole avocado, diced
- 1 cup Doritos (taco flavor works best)
- ½ cup ranch dressing (or your favorite dressing)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, typically taking about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Once the beef is browned, add the taco seasoning and follow the instructions on the package, usually adding a bit of water and letting it simmer for a few minutes.
- While the meat is cooking, chop the romaine lettuce and place it in a large salad bowl.
- To the lettuce, add the cherry tomatoes, corn, diced avocado, and shredded cheese.
- Once the ground beef is seasoned and ready, add it into the salad bowl and gently mix everything together.
- Just before serving, sprinkle the Doritos over the salad to maintain their crunch.
- Drizzle ranch dressing over the top, toss if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
