Description

Moist banana bread packed with chocolate chips and topped with a glossy chocolate drizzle.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (divided)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mash bananas and whisk with melted butter, eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Mix wet and dry ingredients together until just combined.
  5. Fold in half the chocolate chips, then pour batter into the loaf pan.
  6. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
  7. Bake for 55–65 minutes until a toothpick comes out almost clean.
  8. Cool slightly, slice, and enjoy.
