- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Boil potatoes until fork-tender, then mash with butter, cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, season with Cajun spice, and cook until pink (2–3 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
- Deglaze pan with chicken broth, stir in heavy cream, and whisk until thickened.
- Add more Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Return shrimp to skillet, coat in sauce, and sprinkle with parsley.
- Serve shrimp and creamy sauce over mashed potatoes.

- This dish can be served with a side salad for added freshness.
