Description

Juicy seared lamb chops drizzled in a rich garlic-herb sauce, served with creamy mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Lamb chops
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • Fresh thyme (or rosemary)
  • 1/2 cup Red wine
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup Beef or chicken stock
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Pat lamb chops dry, season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, sear lamb chops for 3–4 minutes per side until browned.
  3. Add garlic cloves, butter, and thyme, basting chops as they cook. Remove when medium-rare to medium.
  4. In the same skillet, deglaze with red wine, scraping up browned bits.
  5. Add stock and Dijon mustard, reduce until slightly thickened.
  6. Return lamb briefly to coat in sauce, then plate over mashed potatoes.
