Description

Chewy, fudgy cookies packed with melted chocolate chunks and gooey marshmallows.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup Mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 Egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a larger bowl, cream butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chunks and half of the mini marshmallows.
  6. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet and press a few extra marshmallows on top.
  7. Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft; cool slightly before enjoying.

Notes

  • For extra gooeyness, add more marshmallows on top before baking.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
