Description

A delicious corn pudding made with canned sweet corn, eggs, milk, and butter.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Canned Sweet Corn, drained (Fresh corn can be used for better sweetness and texture.)
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Sugar (optional, adjust to taste) (Experiment with the amount of sugar based on taste preferences.)
  • ½ cup Cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted (For greasing the baking dish.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained sweet corn, beaten eggs, milk, sugar, cornmeal, salt, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
  3. Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  4. Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for about 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the pudding is set.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
