A delicious turkey and cheese bake that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any meal!
Ingredients

- 1 lb lean ground turkey
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 toasted burger buns, torn into pieces
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 small onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground turkey for 7-10 minutes until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add diced onion and sauté for about 3 minutes until soft.
- In a bowl, mix cooked turkey mixture with ketchup and mustard, then stir in torn burger buns until well combined.
- Layer half of the mixture in the baking dish, sprinkle half the cheddar cheese on top, add the remaining turkey mixture, and finish with the rest of the cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, consider adding some red pepper flakes or jalapeños.
- This dish can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
