A delicious and easy recipe for Honey Garlic Tofu served over rice or quinoa.

- 14 oz firm tofu
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)
Instructions
- Press the tofu between paper towels for at least 20 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Cut the pressed tofu into approximately 1-inch cubes.
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu cubes and sear until golden brown on all sides, about 10 minutes.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the tofu and toss gently to coat. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot over rice or quinoa.
