Description

Delicious cheesy twists made with puff pastry, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry (thawed according to package directions)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, add eggs, dijon mustard, garlic and pepper.
  3. Beat together with a fork until eggs are beaten and mixture is well combined.
  4. Unfold puff pastry onto a clean surface, pressing the seams flat.
  5. Brush with egg mixture.
  6. Mix cheeses together and sprinkle 1 cup over the egg mixture. Press lightly into egg mixture.
  7. Fold in half.
  8. Cut into 1 inch strips.
  9. Twist each strip and place onto the lined baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  10. Brush with egg mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  11. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Cool slightly before serving.
