A quick and delicious kielbasa and cabbage dish that’s hearty and full of flavor.
Ingredients

- 12 oz kielbasa, sliced into thick rounds
- 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium sweet onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp caraway seeds
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onions; sauté until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic, sliced carrots, and chopped cabbage; cook until slightly softened (about 5 minutes).
- Push veggies aside; add kielbasa to the skillet. Brown on both sides (around 4-5 minutes).
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and caraway seeds; mix well.
- Cover skillet with a lid; reduce heat to low and steam for 10-15 minutes until all ingredients are tender.
Notes
- This dish can be served as a main course or as a side dish.
- Feel free to add other vegetables such as bell peppers or potatoes for added flavor.
