Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz kielbasa, sliced into thick rounds
  • 4 cups green cabbage, chopped
  • 1 medium sweet onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp caraway seeds

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onions; sauté until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  2. Stir in minced garlic, sliced carrots, and chopped cabbage; cook until slightly softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. Push veggies aside; add kielbasa to the skillet. Brown on both sides (around 4-5 minutes).
  4. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and caraway seeds; mix well.
  5. Cover skillet with a lid; reduce heat to low and steam for 10-15 minutes until all ingredients are tender.
