Halloween-style deviled eggs with eerie purple veins and a vibrant green filling.

- 6 Hard-boiled eggs
- 1 Avocado
- 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- Purple food dye (or beet juice)
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
- Black sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Hard-boil eggs, then gently crack the shells all over without peeling.
- Soak eggs in beet juice or water with purple food dye for 20–30 minutes to create marble veins.
- Peel eggs to reveal spooky purple patterns, then slice in half and remove yolks.
- Mash yolks with avocado, mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Pipe the green filling neatly into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top for a creepy effect.
- Chill before serving as a Halloween party appetizer.
Notes
- For a more intense color, soak the eggs longer in the dye.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
