Description

Fall-off-the-bone tender ribs smothered in a smoky, sweet, and tangy barbecue glaze.

Ingredients

  • Pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • BBQ sauce (smoky, sweet, or spicy)
  • Brown sugar
  • Paprika
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for tenderness.
  3. Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; rub generously over the ribs.
  4. Wrap ribs in foil and bake for 2–2.5 hours until tender.
  5. Remove from foil, brush heavily with BBQ sauce, and place back in the oven at 425°F for 15 minutes to caramelize.
  6. Flip, glaze again, and broil briefly if you want extra char.
  7. Rest for 10 minutes, then slice between bones and serve with extra sauce.

Notes

  • For best results, use a meat thermometer to check for tenderness.
  • Adjust the BBQ sauce according to your taste preference.
  • Let the ribs rest before slicing to retain juices.
