Description
Fall-off-the-bone tender ribs smothered in a smoky, sweet, and tangy barbecue glaze.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
- BBQ sauce (smoky, sweet, or spicy)
- Brown sugar
- Paprika
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for tenderness.
- Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper; rub generously over the ribs.
- Wrap ribs in foil and bake for 2–2.5 hours until tender.
- Remove from foil, brush heavily with BBQ sauce, and place back in the oven at 425°F for 15 minutes to caramelize.
- Flip, glaze again, and broil briefly if you want extra char.
- Rest for 10 minutes, then slice between bones and serve with extra sauce.
Notes
- For best results, use a meat thermometer to check for tenderness.
- Adjust the BBQ sauce according to your taste preference.
- Let the ribs rest before slicing to retain juices.
